The Abbey & Romsey town hall

The historic market town of Romsey is a wonderful destination for your wedding. Romsey Abbey, with its stunning Norman architecture, is an inspiring and unforgettable venue. Alternatively, Romsey’s attractive Victorian Town Hall is the perfect choice for civil weddings and partnerships. There are also a number of other venues in and around Romsey to hold your ceremony. Our dedicated wedding co-ordinator will be very happy to advise you.

The Stables

The Stables is a picture-perfect venue for your wedding breakfast & evening reception. Bursting with charm, it makes an excellent choice for couples who want a luxurious setting with a unique, characterful atmosphere for their special day.

Enjoyed a fabulous lunch following our midweek wedding! All arranged at very short notice with the help of Sarah Bingham, Events Manager. With only four people in our party we didn’t need the full wedding breakfast works, however the meal was certainly fit for a celebration.

Should have reviewed months ago but we had our wedding reception here in a private room which was beautiful considering how competitively priced it was to hire. The staff were very professional and attentive and made sure all guests were well stocked bringing drinks over to our room from main bar. The food was outstanding !!! Every single guest commented on how good it was – even my best man who is a professional chef said how superb it was! If you’re looking for a classy reception which doesn’t cost the earth then contact these guys!! Thank you for help making our day special 🙂

On the 26th of September we had our wedding at the white horse, we had 120 guests attending. I have to say everything went perfectly, the organisation, the food, all perfect! The staff are VERY friendly and ALL of them are great at their jobs. All of our guests said they had a great day and evening and those that stayed were delighted with the bedrooms. If you are thinking about getting married I strongly recommended this hotel and speak to Sarah or Sophie they will arrange a magical day for you I’m sure!
